?Virtus.pro and forZe will lock horns on Thursday in the last quarter-final bout of LOOT.BET/CS Season 8. It will mark their second meeting since Intel Extreme Masters XV New York Online: CIS, where VP reverse-swept forZe with 16-10 on Dust II and 16-12 on Train.

Since that clash, forZe have lost six out of 11 games played, while VP have won all but one of seven outings. That run includes a 2-0 triumph against Natus Vincere and 3-0 against Nemiga.

Although VP are the most likely victors, we expect forZe to put up enough of a fight to make the series close. All of the last four meetings between these two sides ended in three maps, and we expect the same to happen here.

Svenska Elitserien 2020 Fall

?FALKN impressed with their 19-16 win over High Coast Esports last week, but they quickly returned to their old ways with an 8-16 loss to fightclub two days later.

Lilmix, meanwhile, had to skip their last two Svenska Elitserien matches against flowskola and GoBananas since they had to attend Nine to Five #5. There, they produced a mixed bag of results with 2-1 wins over PACT and x6tence and 0-2 losses against Virtus.pro, Copenhagen Flames and Galaxy Racer.

Despite their lack of success at Nine to Five #5, Lilmix deserve some slack since they had to face much tougher opponents than what they’re about to play against at the Svenska Elitserien. Still, they tend to drop points even against weaker sides, which is why we will trust FALKN to win at least nine rounds.

LPL Pro League 2020 Season 3

?Chiefs Esports Club enter the LPL Pro League 2020 Season 3 grand finals as heavy favourites over Avant Gaming, which we don’t quite agree with. Although Chiefs have a map advantage, that rarely guarantees success for the upper bracket team – especially in a regional derby.

Avant have met with Chiefs three times since August and won two series with a combined 6-1 map differential, which clearly shows they should not be priced as high as they are. A smaller bet on the underdogs to win 3-1 can also be considered.

DOTA Summit Online 13 Americas

?Quincy Crew ended their run through the group stage with a near-perfect 8-1-0 record and 17-1 map differential. Thunder Predator saw far less success, although they still ended in the top four with a 3-4-2 record and 10-8 map differential.

Quincy Crew have met with Thunder Predator nine times in 2020 and won all but one fixture, including all of the last four with a 9-1 map differential. Even though TP looked slightly better in the final rounds of the group stage with wins over 4 Zoomers and Infamous, QC seem to be on a whole other level than the rest of the field and should win this with ease.

Movistar Liga Pro Gaming Season 6

?Team Brasil (2-1-1) enter the penultimate round of the Movistar Liga Pro Gaming Season 6 group stage in dire need of wins to secure a spot in the playoffs. On the other hand, Omega Gaming (2-3-0) are in a very comfortable position and only need to win one more to lock in their ticket for the semi-finals.

Even though Team Brasil sit two spots behind Omega Gaming on the standings, it’s hard to separate the teams based on performance. Brasil are 0-5-5 in their last 10, compared to Omega’s 5-4-1 record (albeit against weaker opponents).

This match seems like it can go either way, so it makes more sense to side with Omega given they have actually won a few games across the last week.

LOOT.BET/CS Season 8

?GODSENT and ESPADA will clash for the first time since September, when GODSENT defeated ESPADA 2-1 during Nine to Five #4. There have been no changes in either team since then, so it would be fair to assume a similar result is on the cards.

All esports bookmakers have GODSENT priced as massive favourites on the back of some impressive wins last month. Those include triumphs against FaZe Clan (2-1), G2 Esports (2-0) and the no.1 team in the world, Heroic (2-0).

Even though ESPADA are a solid tier-two team, GODSENT are playing at a much higher level and should have no issues securing a clean 2-0 victory.

Perfect World Dota2 League – Division A

?Galaxy Racer are still without a single win (0-0-3) this tournament. However, that does not mean they’re the worst-performing team in the competition, since they only lost against For The Dream and forfeited the remaining two games due to network issues.

IO Dota2 have played only one game so far this tournament, drawing with Team MagMa. Although a fairly solid result, we are a bit concerned with IO Dota2’s lack of playtime, seeing how they have played only two official matches in the last two weeks.

Galaxy Racer and IO last met just over two weeks ago, playing out a stalemate. GRX have since drawn with BOOM Esports and defeated both Team Adroit and Motivade.Trust Gaming, which is enough for us to believe they can triumph over the ring rusty IO Dota2.

Perfect World Dota2 League – Division B

?DeMonster have had their occasional flashes of greatness, but their last 10 games (3-7) were rather lacklustre. They enter this bout on a five-game losing streak that includes losses to Ink Ice, Forest and three against LBZS.

Matador were far from perfect in their last 10 outings, but it’s hard to be overly critical of their 4-2-4 record. That run includes wins against CDEC, IO Dota2, BOOM Esports and team black.

Matador looked like the stronger team the last time they met with DeMonster and have form on their side for this bout. The value is obviously with the outsiders.

Svenska Elitserien 2020 Fall

?Greshjerna have yet to find any traction at Svenska Elitserien 2020 Fall and enter week 10 with a 5-13 record. However, they deserve some praise for their 16-13 win over Lemondogs, 16-2 against FALKN and a solid 13-16 effort against the current frontrunners, fightclub.

Despite their catastrophic 1-16 record, Tikitaka head into this bout priced as the favourites, which makes no sense. Although they field Alex “PALM1” Palm, the rest of the team is just not cutting it. Until we see some progress, any bet against Tikitakan is a good bet in our book.

?Flowskola enter week 10 of Svenska Elitserien 2020 Fall with a decent 12-5 record, but they have not looked too sharp of late. Not only did Flowskola suffer a 13-16 defeat against vinkelparty last week, but they also struggled against Tikitakan (16-14) and severely underperformed against Lemondogs (9-16) in the weeks prior.

GoBananas are 7-10 so far this tournament. While they have shown some progress, they’re still prone to dropping rounds in their games. Nevertheless, GoBananas have reached at least double digits in three out of their last five fixtures – excluding games against fightclub and High Coast Esports – which is enough for us to believe they can force the inconsistent flowskola to 27 rounds.

Intel Extreme Masters XV New York Online – CIS

?K23 have won 10 games in a row heading into the IEM New York CIS main event, including wins over Gambit (16-14) and Lyngby Vikings (2-0). Virtus.pro are 6-4 in their last 10 but have managed a perfect 5-0 run since last Thursday with wins against Giants Gaming (2-1), NaVi Junior (2-1) and HellRaisers (2-0).

Not only have VP defeated stronger teams, but K23 recently parted ways with their head coach, Asset “Solaar” Sembiev, who was suspended after he was found guilty of exploiting the CS:GO spectator bug. This won’t do K23 any favours when facing a team who swept them in May during ESL One Road to Rio CIS.

Since this is an online match, a three-map series is not entirely out of the question. However, the odds offered on VP to win 2-0 are too good for us to ignore.

?Out of their three games played this month, ESPADA beat APOLOGIS Esport (19-15) but saw far less success against Lyngby Vikings (14-16) and Nemiga Gaming (0-2). ForZe, on the other hand, have won five out of their last seven games (5-2), although they’ve only looked good against weaker sides and severely underperformed against ENDPOINT (11-16) and Sprout (1-16).

ESPADA’s record is far from perfect, but we can’t ignore their results from September when they defeated Winstrike (2-0), SKADE (2-1) and SJ (2-0), and forced a three-map series against GODSENT (1-2). ForZe are still the most likely victors, but unless Andrey “Jerry” Mekhryakov and co. show a bit more consistency, ESPADA should steal at least one map.

Intel Extreme Masters XV New York Online – North America

?Rebirth Esports beat ImPerium Esports (2-1) but lost their remaining three fixtures this tournament against FURIA (0-2), New England Whalers (1-2) and Evil Geniuses (0-2). Likewise, Triumph have only one win, although they put up a strong resistance against FURIA (1-2) by forcing overtime in map one (19-22) and winning convincingly on Inferno (16-7).

Triumph are not as strong as they were with Michael “Grim” Wince; however, if their performance against FURIA is to go by, they should not struggle against Rebirth. The betting odds are not high, but anything over $1.40 is worth a shot.

?New England Whalers have had their flashes of greatness this tournament and beat both ImPerium (2-0) and Rebirth (2-1), but Ben “ben1337” Smith and co. have yet to show anything that would lead us to believe they can cause any damage to the Brazilian juggernauts. Even though FURIA slipped when they dropped a map against Triumph last Wednesday, they’re still one of the best North American CS:GO teams, and their 2-0 win against Evil Geniuses proves that.

The odds offered on the -1.5 map handicap offer no value, but that does not mean there are no betting opportunities. FURIA are priced at $1.74 to win the first map with at least seven rounds to spare, which is very generous considering they have kept their opponents under 10 rounds in five out of nine maps this tourney.

LOOT.BET/CS Season 8

?Nemiga Gaming and Izako Boars last met in May during the UCC Summer Smash, where Nemiga sprung a reverse sweep to snatch a 2-1 win. It marked their third head-to-head win against Boars and the second of 2020 after they defeated the Polish squad in April (16-11).

Nemiga are 5-5 in their last 10 games, while Boars managed are 8-2 in the same stretch. Most recently, Mateusz “TOAO” Zawistowski and co. picked up wins against PLMIX (16-10) and AGO (2-0), whereas Nemiga took down ESPADA (2-0) but struggled against amateur team Killerz (17-19).

Even though Nemiga are the stronger team on paper, their slip-ups against amateur teams don’t inspire much confidence. Izako Boars might not have defeated any high-profile teams in a while, but they are far more consistent.

League of Legends World Championship 2020

?Due to Team SoloMid’s lacklustre showings in the first half of the group stage, it’s entirely justifiable to see them priced as the underdogs for this match. What’s more, their biggest weaknesses – lack of strong macro and poor decision making – are Fnatic’s strong suits, which was fairly obvious in their first meeting.

Even though TSM have experienced and highly talented players on the roster, it seems like the only way they can walk away with a win is if Fnatic blunder the draft and underperform across the board. That, however, seems very unlikely after Fnatic’s solid performance against Gen.G last Tuesday.

?Gen.G pride themselves on fielding some of the best players in the world – specifically mid laner Gwak “Bdd” Bo-seong and ADC Park “Ruler” Jae-hyuk, who are two key reasons that Gen.G are favourites to win Group C.

That, however, does not necessarily mean Gen.G will walk over LGD Gaming, nor does it justify the high odds offered on the Chinese squad. LGD, while a bitter disappointment in the play-in stage, have looked much better in the group phase and had no real issues winning against TSM and Fnatic.

While LGD lost to Gen.G earlier in the tournament, the match was very close and could have easily ended either way, which suggests we are in for another close affair. There is value in siding with LGD to win at $2.53, but we will play it safe and settle for a +6.5 kill handicap.

?Straight after playing LGD Gaming, Gen.G will clash with Team SoloMid in what will be a crucial match for the Korean side. There are some concerns with Gen.G’s lack of preparation for this bout, however, as well as the added factor of fatigue following a tough match with LGD.

Last time they met, Gen.G and TSM produced only 15 kills (9-6), which is not entirely shocking since Korean teams are renowned for their slow and controlled playstyle. We expect more of the same here, so it makes sense to side with the North Americans on a +7.5 kill handicap.

La Liga Season 3 Sur Pro Division Clausura

?Wygers Argentina hold a solid 2-2-3 record after seven rounds to sit in sixth place. That puts them one spot above Malvinas Gaming, who have managed only one win out of seven (1-4-2).

Despite their solid run through the competition, Wygers do not inspire much confidence with their 2-8 record since late September. Malvinas, on the other hand, are 5-2-3 in their last 10 and beat Wygers 16-12 only a couple of weeks ago.

Malvinas are priced very generously considering they have shown the better form of late. While they are 0-1-3 in their last four, Malvinas deserve some slack since they had to face 9z Team (3-16), DETONA Pound (1-1), Cream Real Betis Latam (10-16) and the current highest-rated Argentine CS:GO team, Isurus (13-16).

LOOT.BET/CS Season 8

?HellRaisers enter this bout with a 7-3 record, while Virtus.Pro have managed only one win in their last five outings. Despite HR’s better form, that does not necessarily mean they should be considered as a serious threat here.

Once a force to be reckoned with, HellRaisers are now nothing more than a mediocre B-Tier team. Across the last month, HR lost to Heretics (1-3), Team Secret (0-2) and Sangal Esports (10-16), which are all arguably weaker teams than Virtus.pro.

The only issue we have with VP is their lack of playtime, since they haven’t been involved in an official game in almost a month. Nevertheless, they’re still strategically and individually a better team than HR, who seem to do well only against weaker teams.

LOOT.BET/CS Season 8

Movistar Riders and Heretics will lock horns this Friday for the first time since April, when Heretics swept the Spanish squad 2-0 in the semi-finals of the Cyber.Bet Cup. Heretics have not made any roster changes since, while Movistar Riders have reinforced their squad with Sebastian “larsen” Larsen and Kristjan “shokz” Jakobson.

Movistar Riders have won 52.4% of their games across the last three months, whereas Heretics have managed a slightly better 60% win rate, albeit against weaker sides.

Heretics look the most likely victors, but it’s worth taking a shot with the underdogs at +134. Movistar Riders have won five of their last six clashes, so there is a good chance we could see an upset.

On Monday, c0ntact Gaming ended their run through Intel Extreme Masters XV Beijing Online in 17th-32nd place. While that was far below expectations, even those uninspiring achievements are far more impressive than what FATE have shown recently.

FATE have won five games out of their last 10, which seems solid enough, but we can’t ignore their losses to Mustang Crew (12-16), SJ Gaming (0-2) and Wisla Krakow (6-16). C0ntact, meanwhile, managed to steal one map off mousesports (1-2) and swept both Heretics and Tricked.

Even though there is a chance this game can go the distance, we are leaning towards a 2-0 win for c0ntact. That is largely because of Owen “smooya” Butterfield, who has been averaging a 1.34 rating since his arrival in late August.

Perfect World Asia League Fall 2020

Bren Esports have met with TIGER three times since August, losing each bout for an aggregate score of 1-6. Their most recent meeting happened in September during the group stage of Perfect World Asia League Fall 2020, where Bren took the series lead (16-12) but lost the next two maps 9-16.

Despite Bren’s poor head-to-head record with TIGER, Chris “Pro.” Martir and co. enter this match priced as big favourites. That is likely due to Bren’s recent success against ZIGMA (2-0) and Invictus Gaming (2-1), but even that does not convince us.

League of Legends World Championship 2020

Last time out, JD Gaming crushed Rogue in just over 30 minutes with a 21-8 kill score and +14k gold lead. There is nothing that would lead us to believe their second meeting will play out any differently.

Rogue enter this match with a 1-2 record, meaning a loss here would all but guarantee them to miss the playoffs. The urgency to win will likely inspire a stronger performance from the European side, but they don’t have the tools to match JD Gaming either individually or as a unit.

LoL betting sites are paying around -135.14 on JD Gaming to win the game with at least eight kills to spare, which is a very generous price for one of the most aggressive teams in the tournament.

DAMWON Gaming stomped JD Gaming into the dirt in their first meeting at the League of Legends World Championship with 25-7 in kills and a 15.6k gold lead. After such a commanding display from the Korean squad, it’s hard to believe JDG can turn things around; however, we have to consider their first meeting was also their opening match of the tournament, which are notorious for volatile results.

JD Gaming are still one of the best teams in the world and more than capable of making DWG bleed. Even though their aggressive playstyle can turn around and bite them, it also makes JD a very dangerous team if they grab an early lead.

Normally we would side with DWG to win, but not at these odds. The League of Legends Pro League (LPL) Spring champions are priced way too high for what they bring to the table, so we don’t need to think twice about this one.

Despite their relatively low win percentage across the last two months (44.4%), PACT managed a successful run through Intel Extreme Masters XV New York Online European Open Qualifier, where they finished in third place.

Other notably results include a 2-1 win against Team GamerLegion, a 16-13 win against Heretics, a three-map series against OG and a 16-13 win against MiBR. Consistency, however, is not PACT’s strong suit, since they have produced more than a handful of iffy results against weaker sides.

HAVU are 8-2 in their last 10 games and will enter this match on a seven-game win streak that includes high-profile victims such as c0ntact (2-0), x6tence (2-1), Sprout (2-1), AGO (2-0) and forZe (2-1).

PACT vs HAVU LOOT.BET/CS SEASON 7 BETTING PREVIEW

There is no going around the fact that HAVU are in much better shape than PACT ahead of this bout. The CS:GO betting odds reflect that, but we think the favourites could be priced even shorter.

PACT are capable but inconsistent, which makes it hard to trust them to deliver. Their 16-13 win over MiBR on Wednesday makes it seem like PACT have found their form, although it would not be fair to rank the Brazilians as a top-tier team based on their recent results.

The -1.5 handicap in these B-Tier online tournaments is rarely the best option, as many fixtures tend to be relatively close. At +142, however, we will gladly take our chances on HAVU to continue their streak and hand PACT their third consecutive loss.

Their failure to enter the post-season at ESEA means SKADE lost another opportunity to claim their first CS:GO esports title since April, when they won SECTOR: MOSTBET Season 2. SPELLAN and co. are still in the running at LOOT.BET/CS S7, but they need to take down their regional rivals who have caused them headaches before.

FATE are far from a top-tier CS:GO team, but their success in recent months should not be ignored. Since the turn of the year, they have won WINNERS League – Season 3: Europe Main Division, Phoenix League Season 1 and the Cyber.Bet Summer Cup. They also finished in third-fourth place at Assembly Winter 2020.

SKADE hold a 5-5 record from their last 10. While they lost to Movistar Riders (24-28), ALTERNATE aTTaX (12-16), FATE (1-2), Illuminar (0-2) and CR4ZY (1-2), they also enjoyed convincing wins over Unicorns of Love (16-2), pro100 (16-5), FATE (16-13), Wisla Krakow (2-0) and AGO (16-13).

Historically, FATE and SKADE tend to produce close matches, which is not surprising given these two rosters know each other well. FATE came away with a 2-1 win when they met last week, but that was an unusually one-side affair.

SKADE took the series lead with 16-10 on Dust II but got stomped into the dirt on Mirage (6-16) and Overpass (5-16). SKADE’s entire roster is running at only 1.03 over the past three months, while FATE’s squad holds a 1.06 average rating. That margin is rather small, but FATE’s results in recent weeks are far better. They lost only one out of their last five played, while SKADE lost three.

The match odds are tight and the historical record points to a close encounter, but the form lines suggest FATE are in much better shape and should get the win.

HONORIS are a newly established Polish squad built around two Counter-Strike esports veterans in Wiktor “TaZ” Wojtas and Filip “NEO” Kubski, who teamed up with Daniel “STOMP” P?omiński, Kamil “reiko” Cegie?ko and Wojciech “Prism” Zi?ba.

Since the inception of HONORIS in May, they have played only 13 competitive matches and failed to see much success. The Poles have won only 30.8% of their games, which is not all too promising, but they produced solid showings in their 16-6 win over Complexity Gaming at #HomeSweetHome: Week 7 and their 2-0 win against Wisla Krakow at LOOT.BET/CS.

In their last five games, HONORIS defeated Japaleno (16-12) and Copenhagen Flames (2-1) but lost to Illuminar (1-2), Complexity (1-2) and ALTERNATE aTTaX (0-2).

Although this will be the first match between these two sides, it’s not hard to see why HAVU Gaming are priced as massive favourites. Although the Finns have slowed down in recent weeks and don’t look as solid as they did at FLASHPOINT, they are still a level above HONORIS.

Despite their occasional flashes of greatness, the individual performances of HONORIS’ players are not too inspiring. Prism (0.89), TaZ (0.91) and NEO (0.95) are all producing below-average numbers, while STOMP (1.03) and reiko (1.07) are the only two players with positive ratings.

HAVU, meanwhile, boast a 1.04 average rating across all five members. Olli “sLowi” Pitk?nen (1.12) and Lasse “ZOREE” Uronen (1.14) have both been performing well in recent months, but all the eyes will be on Aaro “hoody” Peltokangas after he recorded a massive 1.60 average rating against Wisla Krakow on Wednesday.

HAVU also have much stronger map pool, as they hold better records on Dust II (63% – 33%), Mirage (44% – 40%), Nuke (71% – 29%), Train (77% – 20%) and Overpass (50% – 0%). The only two maps where HONORIS hold an advantage are Inferno (50% – 0%) and Vertigo (60% – 44%), but we can expect HAVU to ban Inferno and they should still edge out a win on Vertigo if HONORIS decide to pick it.

There is not a lot going for HONORIS here. This team is well below the level of HAVU, who should win this match without any issues.

The tournament will run from July 30 to August 22, with the long-awaited StarLadder Berlin Major to begin the day after LOOT.BET S3 finishes. This means the CS:GO schedule is now filled with high-profile matches until September 8, only to see BLAST Pro Series Moscow 2019 start five days later.

Just like previous editions, LOOT.BET/CS Season 3 will be divided into a regular season and playoffs. The 16 teams will compete in a Bo3 Swiss format, out of which only the top eight sides will advance into playoffs. Winstrike will be put under the spotlight as they enter the league with one of the most experienced CS:GO esports players in the world in Ioann “Edward” Sukhariev.

Out of the remaining eight spots in the field, six will be awarded to invited teams. The other two places are reserved for the top two teams in the LOOT.BET/CS Season 3 closed qualifier, which which will conclude on July 23.

One of youngsters and Team Heretic will book their ticket via the winners’ final, while the loser of that clash will have a second chance when they face the winner of SJ Gaming and CPH Flames.

Once the closed qualifiers are done, we can expect the LOOT.BET/CS organizers to send out the remaining six invitations and release the tournament schedule in a matter of days.
